I specialise in custom timber finishes, employing stains, paints and polishes as well as traditional techniques such as ebonizing and gilding.
Stained mouldings are all finished with beeswax and are available in standard or high-gloss variations. The stains can be mixed and tweaked to create unique custom tones to match either the artwork or your decor.
Painted mouldings are available in mat and gloss finishes (via a water-based top coat) and are available in any colour you require. We can either select something to compliment the tones within the artwork, or you can simply bring me a colour card from your preferred paint supplier.
Below you will find a small selection of finishes from my range. The sample finishes are all on one of my standard Tasmanian Oak mouldings.
